Where July was the month of the Gnut Fusion and improving a lot of Legendary Champions, August has another huge Fusion. Emic Trunkheart with Unkillable buff and other nice skills. Since I only have Maneater I will try to get this one too.
For the rest I expect to be able to get a few nice new Champions like Mithrala Lifebane, Dark Kael who are ready to be summoned during the Champion Summon Tournament.
August is also the Month of Vacation meaning more free time, but off days too. The Emic Fusion is going to ask me to stay alert not to miss an Event.

Champion Pulls and Updates during Emic Trunkheart Fusion Events
Champion Pulls
- Uugo #2 – a second Uugo is perfect for my Hydra Setup;
- Godseeker Aniri #2 – a second Aniri is perfect for Hydra too. For other areas aswell since I can build her slightly different and even combine them in one team. Imagine a team with Two Aniri’s and a Maulie orso;
- Royal Guard #2 – not very useful but OK as a Faction Guard
- Nogoryo – no use for him yet
- Samar Gemcursed – looks useless so far
- Mithrala Lifebane – during the Champion Chase Tournament, incredible good champion and build her for Arena to replace Rian (Incr. ATK and DEF in one skill)
Champion Updates
- Harima – to 60
- Maulie – to 60
- Rian – to 60 and then stripped the gear for Mithrala
- Archmage Hellmut – 6* and to 60 to play around in Arena and Clan Boss
- Uugo #2 – to 50
- Aniri #2 – to 5*
- Cardinal – to 5*
- Mithrala – to 60 and geared
Content Progression
During the Emic Trunkheart Fusion I made progress on several area’s.

- Dragon – finished Stage 10 on Hard Mode!
- Arena – almost reached Platinum, but Plarium gave me impossible teams to conquer
The next day it happend just after the weekly restart. Platinum Arena! And then back go Gold in an hour, but still…
- Faction Wars – Completed tree Faction Wars with 3*. The Banner Lords, Dark Elves and Dwarves.
Clan Boss Rewards
It occured to me that I got no Sacred Shards from Clan Boss Rewards since I was working on the Gnut Fusion. That is more than a Month already. Can that be possible? The few I did get were from Progression Rewards and the Monthly’s. Let’s keep Count on Shards and Books from now on (if I can keep that up).
Last week of August
Champion Pulls and New Champions
- Sun Wukong – as everybody else, received this on the 29th of August. Building him in Perception as Arena Debuffer. Looks like an addition to the current Roster
- Visix the Unbowed #2 – from the 19th Void Shard I counted this month. Mercy Counter reset. Try keeping track now
Champions Progression
- For the content this Month which came across I have rebuild or upgraded several Champions on Masteries and Gear. I have to update their pages, but here’s a list:
- For Iragoth, the Eternal Dragon: Geomancer – more Speed, Dhukk the Pierced – more Speed, Vrask – more HP
- For Clan Boss: Hydra: Maulie Tankard – more Speed and HP, Pythion – better gear, Speed, Masteries but kept him in Stoneskin, Visix the Unbowed – changed to Reflex to cycle skills faster and Masteries, Uugo – forgot her Masteries, Godseeker Aniri – Masteries, Uugo #2 – gear and Masteries, Godseeker Aniri # – Gear and Masteries
- For Doom Tower Waves: Razelvarg – more Speed and Masteries (he becomes a very interesting champion), Artak – he was way behind on Masteries
- For Spider Hard 10 – Valkyrie – Speed, Masteries
- For Arena: Sun Wukong – Leveled to 6*, full Masteries (800 gems), Geared but might need to strip from others 🙁
Game Progress
- Finished a Doom Tower Rotation for the first time. Doom Tower: Rotation 2: Eternal Dragon – Clearing the Waves and the Final Boss too with Iragoth, the Eternal Dragon
- New High Score on Hard in Clan Boss: Hydra Clan Boss: Hydra but working on better team composions
- Finished another Faction Wars serie with 3 Stars, this time rather unexpected the Sacred Order. A second Aniri (5 star, booked, medium gear) helpt a lot
Arena and Tag Arena
- Reached Silver (as shown above) but a fallback to Gold 5. Keeping up though at 50-100 point after the moving goal
- Reached Silver 1 in Tag Arena for the first time. Never really had focus on it. But it’s worth it. You get 25 bars as reward per win and a Void Shard comes available
- Invested in Guild Hall (see image below). Decided to invest in Magic first (forgot my dear champions such as Artak, Razelvarg, Uugo, Dhukk the Pierced, Scyl of Drakes, Archmage Hellmut, Venomage, Miscreated Monster etc) because of my focus on Void Champions for a while. Now everything goes to level 5, from there on I’ll start upgrading to 5 on HP, RES, DEF etc until a new Mission forces me otherwise. Compared to last month, I did quite a lot by the way which I am very happy about.

I also decided to create a Youtube Channel to post some of my recordings online. It started from wanting to show a run and behaviour of certain Champions (Chaagur, the incredible Dragon) but it’s heavy for a website to load and to run. Linking to Youtube is much faster.
However making Youtube Video’s is more work than just showing fragments. So with some delay I will post content there, mainly without Voice and my Face in it (will do sometimes) but with an article here telling the underlaying story with links to Champions and their builds.

End this, my fellow readers (just myself and my shadow probably) is the end of this Month’s story. All in all a nice progression of my account and yes, I had fun in playing the game. And interacting with other players too!
