Yellowstone Season One (2024)

The first season of Yellowstone premiered June 20, 2018 and concluded on August 22, 2018, after years of work by Taylor Sheridan; Sheridan had been working on the series in 2013. The first script was greenlit by Paramount Network May 3, 2017.

The first season was followed by a second season.

Plot

John Dutton is the seventh generation owner of Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, the largest ranch in the United States, and still growing, however the land is under constant threat from a land developer who wants to construct condos upon his land and a Native American casino mogul seeking what he believed to be his peoples birthright. His eldest son, Lee, is meant to run the ranch after he passes, his daughter Beth represents one of the largest bank firms in America, and his middle son, Jamie, seeks a political career as Montana's Attorney Gerenal. His youngest son, Kayce, however resists the idea of returning to support the ranch, since he lives on the Reservation with his wife, Monica, and their son, Tate, also it is due to the shady business that occurs on and off the land.
