The fine art of German engineering addresses the needs of the North American market: Drawing on decades of bus-building experience, the new Tourrider has been developed and constructed from the ground up in close collaboration with North American coach operators. With state-of-the-art safety systems, corrosion-free stainless steel frame, and a nationwide service network, the new Tourrider is perfectly tailored to meet the needs of the North American market. The Tourrider is available in two variants, a Business and a Premium line, and offers numerous options to accomodate your company’s individual needs.

At the coach manufacturing plant in Hoşdere (Turkey), Mercedes-Benz has built a facility solely for the production of the newly developed Tourrider with a stainless steel structure. Although the Tourrider was developed especially for the North American market, it still has one thing in common with all Mercedes-Benz coaches: the very highest quality standards, secured by the expertise of experienced Mercedes-Benz bus and coach engineers.
True to the principle of “Mercedes-Benz quality”, the new Tourrider has the clear aim of raising the bar in the coach segment in terms of manufacturing quality, equipment, features, and advanced technologies.Cutting-edge technology, over 125 years of bus and coach manufacturing experience, the combination of proven components and elements developed especially for the North American market are the basis for everything the new Tourrider has on board to set new standards.
The concept of the new Tourrider is convincing. Manufactured in accordance with the high quality standards of Mercedes-Benz coaches at one of Europe’s most modern production facilities, the new Tourrider impresses with manufacturingexcellence, state-of-the-art assistance and safety systems, superior comfort for the driver and passengers. Founded in 1967, the Mercedes-Benz Türk Hoşdere plant can look back on a long and successful history: In 1995, the manufacturing plant was one of the first in the world to be certified accordingto ISO 9001 - Quality Management Systems with the production of more than 100,000 units over the past 25 years. With high-precision manufacturing processes and the use of durable high-tech components, the Tourrider with theStar will be a shining example of reliability and economy. With proven components such as the Infotainment System or the premium seats from our in house production together with components developed specifically for the US-market. One example of this is the Mercedes-Benz OM 471 heavy-duty engine, which fulfills all US-EPA exhaust emission standards. The principle of “Mercedes-Benz quality" can be found in even the smallest details of the new Tourrider coach.
